About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated
Mechatronics CAD Design Engineer
to join our design and development team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the design, prototyping, and development of innovative products by seamlessly integrating mechanical, electronic, and sensor-based systems. You will be responsible for creating CAD models, working with cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively with clients during the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and enclosures using CAD tools such as
Fusion 360, SolidWorks
, or similar.
• Collaborate on
product prototyping and development
from concept to production-ready designs.
• Integrate
electronic components, sensors, and actuators
into mechanical assemblies.
• Prepare and maintain
detailed technical drawings
, BOMs, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with
electronics engineers, software developers, and industrial designers
.
• Participate in
client meetings
and product presentations; explain technical details and design choices clearly and professionally.
• Conduct design
iterations based on testing, feedback, and performance evaluations
.
• Ensure designs comply with
manufacturing constraints, safety regulations, and cost-effectiveness
.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in
Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
.
• Proven
hands-on experience with CAD software
(Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Experience in
designing for prototyping, 3D printing, and mass manufacturing
(CNC, injection molding, etc.).
• Strong understanding of
mechatronics systems
, including actuators, sensors, PCBs, and embedded electronics.
• Ability to read and work with
circuit schematics
and
sensor datasheets
.
• Strong
problem-solving skills
and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent
communication and presentation skills
– both written and verbal.
• Ability to explain complex engineering ideas to
non-technical stakeholders and clients
.
