Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Clothing store. Tasks: Sell merchandise. Prepare samples. Lay out master pattern on fabric and cut sample pattern. Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards. Construct patterns and templates. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Prepare sketches and models. Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.
