Pastry Assistant / All-Rounder – GABEE COFFEE (Albert Park)

1. Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Pastry Assistant or All-Rounder to join our café team in Albert Park. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys baking and working in a well-organised environment while contributing to daily café operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Baking simple pastries such as muffins, cookies, and croissants (pre-proofed)
Assisting with beverage preparation and front-of-house service
Participating in stock control, ordering, and day-to-day café operations
Maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-documented working system
2. Requirements

Basic pastry and baking skills
Good hygiene habits and attention to cleanliness
Teamwork-oriented mindset and clear communication
Must hold a valid visa permitting work in Australia
3. Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in cafés or bakeries
Barista and/or customer service experience
Flexibility to work on weekends
Interest in long-term employment and growth
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
