Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this position provides technical and application support to all computer system users across the Medical Center. Responsibilities include support for personal computers as well as various components of the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

The role is primarily responsible for the hospital’s software systems, including user support, file maintenance, and general system management. This individual will serve as a first-line resource for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with end users. They must be capable of clearly explaining EMR and network functions and will assist with training sessions related to EMR applications.

This position requires flexibility, including availability to work varied hours, holidays, and weekends as needed. Additional duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
License / Certification / Registration:

Current Kansas RN license.
Experience:

Preferred 1–2 years of experience supporting healthcare EMR applications, personal computers, and network environments.
