We're seeking a seasoned Senior Government Tender & Liaison Manager to drive our submersible pump business's government tendering and liaison strategy.
This role demands in-depth knowledge of government procurement systems and the ability to lead end-to-end tender management—from sourcing and bid preparation to post-award execution—while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor submersible pump tenders across national/state portals (GeM, eProc, IREPS, PSU portals, Zilla Parishads, PHED, ONGC, Railways)
Evaluate tender eligibility criteria, specifications, and subsidy scheme requirements
Government & PSU Liaisoning
Build and maintain strategic relationships with officials in PHED, Panchayati Raj, ONGC, Rail Divisions, municipal corporations, and water departments
Facilitate approvals, certifications, site surveys, and pre-bid clarifications
Documentation & Compliance Management
Prepare and manage tender submissions, including EMD, PBG, technical datasheets, warranty certificates, and test reports
Ensure strict adherence to government procurement norms and subsidy program guidelines
Post-Award Contract Execution Support
Track award notifications and support technical handovers
Coordinate delivery, installation, commissioning, and O&M contract requirements
Manage field-level reporting, subsidy disbursement schedules, and reimbursement documentation
Ideal Candidate Profile:
4+ years of experience in submersible pump tendering and government procurement
Proven track record managing tenders worth ₹10 million+ (including rural water supply scheme projects)
Deep understanding of government buying processes (PHED, Zilla Parishad, ONGC, Railways, Panchayati Raj, GeM/eProc)
Technical familiarity with borewell pumps (10–50 HP), sewage pumps, test certifications, and maintenance contracts
Strong soft skills in relationship-building, negotiation, compliance management, and cross-functional coordination
