PRIME OBJECTIVE

The Electrical Engineering Technician will be required to provide technical support to the Building Maintenance Unit and Car Stacker maintenance team whilst on client site and to provide high quality customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Service, Maintenance, Repair & Certify BMUs and any other equipment as directed at Customers site/s as required by Service Agreement / Contract.

Work according to Australian Standards, Australian Regulations, Australian Worksafe Authority and Local government requirements, which includes:

· AutoCAD & CNC Programming

· Design of Electrical sketches

· 2D & 3D Modelling

· Assembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls,

· Maintaining BMU hydraulic power systems

· Evaluate plant condition and performance and provide maintenance and/or modification strategies

· Assist in determining scope of all routine, overhaul and condition monitoring work

· Selecting tools and equipment

· Estimating time and materials costs and quantities, and machine requirements

· Analysing data, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagrams

· Prepare written reports relating to BMU integrity and performance

· Provide technical direction to others on all aspects of BMU operation and maintenance

· Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions

· Any other specific customer permit forms as required on site

· Completing customer site inductions when required

· Carry out works in accordance with Vertimax's OHS procedures and safe practice

Key Requirements:

· Trade or service industry background minimum 5 years

· Understanding of motor control (an advantage)

· Strong verbal communication skills

· Ability to work effectively in both small and large teams

· White card (CIC/White Card)

· Working Safely at Heights (we can assist in obtaining)

· Clean police record

· Availability to work full time, demonstrating reliability and flexibility

Pay: $78,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
