The Municipal Group of Companies is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, and people-focused professional to join our team as a Training Support Administrator. In this dynamic, entry-level role, you’ll provide administrative and logistical support to two high-impact teams: the Dexter Institute Private Career College and our Leadership Development team. This position will be based out of our office in Bedford, NS.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting training programs that build internal capacity and professional development across the organization. You’ll interact with team members at all levels of leadership and play a vital role in delivering a seamless and professional learning experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Dexter Institute Private Career College Support:

Act as the primary point of contact for external inquiries about the college
Monitor and respond to email and phone inquiries
Manage candidate applications, including document collection and tracking
Schedule and coordinate candidate pre-screening interviews
Prepare interview materials and track interview outcomes
Send acceptance notifications to successful candidates
Prepare program materials (binders, PPE, classroom supplies)
Order catering and coordinate classroom logistics
Open and close classrooms
Support orientation day and graduation event
All other duties as required
Leadership Development Support:

Book training spaces and register participants for sessions
Print training materials, prepare name tents, and set up classrooms
Track attendance and learner progress in BIStrainer (LMS)
Distribute pre-work, homework, and post-training surveys
Provide support during training sessions (email and phone communication)
Take meeting minutes and provide admin support to the Leadership Development working committee
All other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

Previous administrative experience is an asset.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication – verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
