As a leading organization in the logistics sector, CTS Canada is currently operating 7 warehouses and offices throughout Canada, with our headquarters situated in North York.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the HR functions and contributing to the development and execution of HR strategies that align with the company’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Assist with the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.

2.Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring all required documentation is completed.

3.Maintain employee records, issue Employment Verification Letters, report WSIB/WSBC/WCB

4.Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.

5. Collecting and verifying timesheet data and familiar with the payroll system

6. Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

7. Support the HR team with various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and preparing reports.

8. Maintain employee records, including but not limited to, personal information, attendance, timesheet and performance evaluations.

9. Help draft and update HR-related policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current regulations and organizational goals.

10. Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports, such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and headcount trends, to support decision-making.

11. Provide support to HR & Admin departments as assigned, assisting with procurement projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

12. Mandarin language skills are an asset.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

At least 3 years of experience in HR administrative role.

Knowledge of payroll and HR-related laws and regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
