FULL-TIME QUALIFIED MOTOR MECHANIC (2 Positions) - Bondi Beach

Company: CAROLOGY (Bondi Beach Mechanic P/L).

· Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum

We are looking for at least two senior light vehicle motor mechanic to fill full-time permanent positions at our automotive workshop.

Located in the heart of Sydney Eastern Suburbs you will report to the workshop manager and be required to complete a full range of mechanical repairs on all makes and models.

Ample automotive and or auto electrical experience is a requirement.

Job tasks and responsibilities (Trade qualified motor mechanic / automotive technician):

· Carry out vehicle inspections.

· Troubleshooting, fault finding and diagnostics in engines and mechanical parts

· Carry out regular and preventative car maintenance services.

· Road test vehicles.

· Interpret spare parts and repair requirements.

· Repair and replace worn and defective parts.

· Complete basic paperwork and job cards

· Be confident and able to work autonomously.

· Work cooperatively with other mechanics.

· Oversight and assist other mechanics.

· Be able to engage customers when required.

Qualification Requirements (Trade qualified senior automotive mechanic):

· Trade qualification (Certificate IV) or at least three years relevant full-time experience.

· High level of experience in fault finding and diagnostics.

· Experience with European vehicles.

· Current unrestricted driver’s license.

Preferred (would be advantageous)

· Additional licenses and certification (e.g., Roadworthy, Pink Slip, Blue Slip, LPG, Air Conditioning)

· High level of experience with European vehicles

· Motorbike and Motor scooter mechanic experience

· Heavy vehicle repair and maintenance experience

· Computer aided diagnoses experience

· Automotive Electrical experience

· Availability on weekends or Saturday

· Complete tool kit

· Residing in locality
