Job Description
We are seeking an experienced WooCommerce developer with a strong background in building custom WordPress plugins and e-commerce websites.
Requirements:
• 4-5+ years of experience building WooCommerce stores and custom WP plugins.
• Deep understanding of WooCommerce hooks/actions, custom post types, taxonomies, and the WP REST API.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and familiarity with Composer, Git, and modern development workflows.
• Knowledgeable in front-end frameworks (VanillaJS, React, Vue) and experience integrating with payment, shipping, or ERP APIs.
• Strong UX/UI sensibility and experience with TypeScript and JS bundling tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to scope and estimate plugins and features.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build, maintain, and enhance WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
• Architect and develop custom WordPress plugins—optimizing for performance, security, and scalability.
• Integrate with third-party APIs (payment gateways, shipping, marketing, etc.).
• Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in object-oriented PHP, WP APIs, REST, and database design.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver polished, responsive front-end experiences (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Deploy and manage on live production environments, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize performance.
