Core Responsibilities:

Collection Management:Selecting, acquiring, organizing, and maintaining the library's collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources.
Information Access:Helping students and staff find and utilize the resources they need for learning and research.
Literacy Promotion:Implementing programs and initiatives to encourage reading and a love for learning.
Information Literacy Instruction:Teaching students research skills and how to evaluate information.
Library Operations:Managing the day-to-day operations of the library, including circulation, cataloging, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Collaboration:Working with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum and classroom instruction.
Technology Integration:Keeping up with new technologies and trends in library science to enhance library services.
Specific Duties:

Maintaining the Library's Collection: This includes organizing materials, shelving books, and ensuring the library is well-stocked and well-maintained.
Assisting Patrons: Helping students and staff find materials, answering questions, and guiding them in their research.
Promoting Library Programs: Organizing events, workshops, and activities to engage students and promote reading.
Teaching Research Skills: Providing instruction on how to use library resources, conduct research, and evaluate information.
Managing Library Operations: Handling circulation, cataloging, and maintaining records.
Collaborating with Teachers: Working with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
Staying Current: Attending professional development opportunities and staying up-to-date on library trends and technologies.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
