Lead Software Development Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing functionalities for new and existing applications.

You will lead R&D initiatives for new libraries, components, and technologies, rapidly prototype new features and applications, review code, and provide mentorship to junior developers.

Additionally, you will perform bug fixes, communicate effectively within a globally distributed Agile team, address technical queries from customers and business users, and uphold high development standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced Agile environment involving daily scrums, client demos, planning meetings, grooming sessions, and team-building activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum of 5-12 years of hands-on industry experience
• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record in developing large-scale web applications or SaaS solutions
• Expertise in Microsoft technologies including the web stack and C#/.NET Core
• Proficiency in at least one front-end framework (Angular or React)
• Advanced experience in developing web applications using TypeScript
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL, SQL Azure, and ORM frameworks like EF6/EF Core
• Familiarity with essential Azure services such as Key Vault, Azure Storage, Queues, and Blob Storage
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
• Unit testing experience using NUnit, Moq, or Jest
• Proficiency with distributed version control systems such as Git or SVN
