Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Agile Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing robust data pipelines, analyzing raw data ingestion, and evaluating business needs. They will work closely with senior stakeholders to define new data product use cases and ensure their value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.

• Analyze and optimize raw data ingestion pipelines for improved performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives.

• Take ownership of data product pipelines and ensure their continuous improvement.

• Monitor data quality and reliability, and implement measures to enhance it.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering trends and technologies.

• Lead cross-functional teams and drive projects forward.

• Adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data-related roles (Data Engineer/Data Architect).

• 2-3 years of experience in DB/ETL development, preferably with Talend and DBT.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Technical expertise in Data Modeling techniques (Data Vault).

• Advanced ETL tool expertise (Talend, Alteryx, etc.).

• Proficient in SQL programming, with Python skills a plus.

• Experience with Agile methodologies in software development.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and data transformation tools like DBT.

• Knowledge of DevOps, DataOps practices (CI/CD, GitLab, DataOps.live).

• Familiarity with Data Mesh and FAIR principles.

• Industry standard certification a plus.

• Ability to work in EMEA time zones.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
