Senior Cloud Application Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop and manage scalable applications for our cloud-based platform. As an integral part of our team, you will work on both frontend and backend development, handling cloud-based applications, API creation, and database workflows.

You will focus on creating solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive engagement. You will translate product vision into scalable and functional features holistically, including design and engineering.

Responsibilities:
• Research and engineer key features into the product roadmap.
• Create scalable and high-performing APIs with backend serverless functions.
• Develop backend APIs using Python and integrate them with databases.
• Design and maintain cloud-based solutions for scalable applications.
• Work on front-end interfaces when required using React.
• Develop and maintain React, React Native, and Flutter applications when required.
• Implement and optimize workflows to handle data efficiently.
• Think and build security into every layer of development and deployment, troubleshoot, debug, and maintain software applications.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2+ years working experience of Python and backend workflows.
• 2+ years working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and serverless computing.
• 2+ years working experience with API development and RESTful services.
• 2+ years experience of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• 2+ years working experience with auth protocols OAuth/OpenID, SAML.
• Familiarity with React.js, React Native, Flutter for frontend development.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development such AWS CodePipeline.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and translate requirements into solutions.
