Senior Cloud Engineering Manager
About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineering Manager to lead our India-based engineering operations and drive strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native technologies, AI-driven development tools, and full-stack development.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the expansion of India-based engineering operations, shaping technical direction and scaling capabilities.
Act as a technical mentor, elevating the engineering team's skill set to ensure world-class standards.
Influence global product strategy and architecture through direct collaboration with executive and business leaders.
Achievements:
Lead the shift towards fully AI-driven software development, managing AI agents that autonomously write, test, and deploy code.
Continuously explore and integrate advanced AI-driven development tools to enhance productivity and scalability.
Champion best practices and novel approaches for AI-enhanced coding, automation, observability, and software quality.
Technical Skills:
Architect and deliver scalable cloud-native applications leveraging React, Type Script, Python, and advanced API designs (RESTful, gRPC).
Oversee robust Dev Ops practices, automating CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and containerizing applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Maintain secure, efficient, and performant multi-cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP) using tools such as Terraform and Helm.
Nice to Have:
Expertise with advanced AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
Strong knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
Experience with LMS analytics, AI-based learning models, or AI-powered student engagement tools.
Strong background in performance optimization and database scalability (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL solutions).
Exposure to microservices architectures and API-first development.
