Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to support the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in metro rail projects. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and safe integration of mechanical components in alignment with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and detailing of mechanical systems such as ventilation, HVAC, fire-fighting, escalators, and platform screen doors in metro stations.
Coordinate fabrication drawings and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
Monitor installation activities at project sites and ensure alignment with design specifications and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections and quality checks for mechanical equipment and fabricated components.
Support commissioning activities, including system testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Liaise with vendors and contractors for timely delivery and installation of systems.
Maintain updated records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and technical reports.
Comply with relevant IS/IEC standards and metro rail authority guidelines.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
1–2 years of experience in infrastructure/metro/rail/transportation projects.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design software is preferred.
Good understanding of fabrication processes, mechanical installations, and preventive maintenance.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to work at project sites and in multidisciplinary environments.
