Senior Manufacturing Systems Manager

The Role and Responsibilities
Project Management:
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and milestones.
• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of SAP projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Manufacturing Expertise:
• Optimize SAP solutions for manufacturing processes such as production planning, inventory management, and supply chain management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
SAP Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership in SAP modules relevant to manufacturing, including SAP FICO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, PS, and analytics tools like Data Lake and Tableau.
• E nsure best practices in SAP implementation and customization.
Integration and Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience with integration of third-party business applications, BASIS, and GRC.
• Manage and oversee the integration of SAP with other systems and applications.
Team Leadership:
• Manage and mentor a team of SAP consultants and functional experts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Recruit, train, and manage team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Stakeholder Management:
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and management of expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and finance, to ensure project goals are met.
Quality Assurance:
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure SAP solutions meet business requirements and technical standards.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within manufacturing operations using SAP.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and drive operational efficiency.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their integration with SAP is desired. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a lead role within the manufacturing industry and has experience with SAP S/4HANA and its implementation in manufacturing environments. Additionally, Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in manufacturing would be an advantage.
