Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to oversee our OEM factory process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality or technical departments of PV module factories, with a strong background in solar industry and analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:
• OEM Factory Process Oversight: Monitor the entire production process from incoming material inspection to final product testing and shipment supervision.
• Material Verification: Verify specifications and manufacturers of raw materials used by the OEM factory against CSI BOM.
• Product Supervision: Oversee product supervision during production, final product inspection, and shipment supervision.
• Process Compliance: Review documents such as soldering parameters and EL testing standards to ensure compliance.
• Reliability Testing: Supervise execution of reliability tests like PID testing and damp heat cycling at the OEM factory.
• BOM and Drawing Management: Provide latest BOM, SIP, SOP, and drawings to the OEM factory.
• Analytical Tools Proficiency: Utilize analytical tools for quick analysis of issues like lamination bubbles.
• Rapid Response Mechanism: Establish on-site resolution of urgent quality issues within 2 hours.
• Issue Resolution: Lead and follow up on 8D reports when major issues occur at the OEM factory.
• Production Tracking: Track daily production progress.
• Reporting: Compile and report daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Monthly Production Plan: Communicate monthly production plan for OEM products.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of engineering experience in quality or technical department of a PV module factory, with at least 3 years in the solar industry.
• Skillset: Proficient in EL/IV curve testing, CTM calculation methods, and EVA crosslinking degree testing.
• Data Analysis: Skilled in data analysis to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Indian tolling regulations and compliance requirements.
• Cultural Competence: Familiarity with India's BIS certification process and local labor laws.
• Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills, with proficiency in Gujarati preferred.
