Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience in JCL DB2 and COBOL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to lead projects in a hybrid work model. Experience in analytics is a plus. This is a day shift role with no travel required.

Responsibilities
• Lead the development and maintenance of software applications using JCL DB2 and COBOL.
• Oversee the design and implementation of technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in the planning and estimation of project tasks and timelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
• Document technical specifications and project-related information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Support the team in achieving project milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications
• Must have strong experience in JCL DB2 and COBOL.
• Should have a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 12 years of relevant experience.
• Nice to have experience in analytics domain.
• Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Should have a strong understanding of software development life cycle.
• Must be committed to continuous learning and improvement.
• Should have experience with code versioning tools.
• Must be able to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Should have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
