IB Mathematics Teacher

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality online math and statistics classes to students preparing for various international curriculum exams, including IB, A Level, IGCSE, AP, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Utilize real-life examples to illustrate geometrical concepts and foster engagement among students.
• Develop teaching materials that cater to the diverse needs of learners.
• Assign tasks and projects to students to enhance their understanding and problem-solving skills.
• Facilitate interactive classroom discussions on various topics, promoting active participation and critical thinking.
• Provide additional support to students who require extra help, ensuring they stay on track with their coursework.
• Build strong relationships with students, establishing trust and rapport that encourages open communication.
• Solve a range of mathematical problems in the classroom, serving as a role model for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, identifying areas where improvement is needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in teaching mathematics and statistics at various levels, either formally or informally.
• Excellent understanding of how students learn best, enabling the development of engaging lesson plans.
• Familiarity with relevant curricula and teaching methodologies.
