Job Description
Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Azure Migration Lead to drive on-premises to Azure cloud migrations. You will lead assessment, planning, and execution using tools like Azure Migrate, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. The role includes technical leadership, stakeholder coordination, and hands-on infrastructure work.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Lift & Shift and clean deployment migrations using Azure Migrate.
• Conduct application intake, discovery, and dependency analysis.
• Design and implement migration runbooks, playbooks, and cutover plans.
• Provision Azure infrastructure via Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot migration and infrastructure issues.
• Manage migration status, risks, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Work with Entra ID (Azure AD), VMs, VNets, NSGs, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
Required Skills
• Azure Migrate – setup, configuration, troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS & networking
• Experience with VMware, Windows Server migrations
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• CI/CD pipeline integration (Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitLab)
• Customer-facing experience & migration documentation
• Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
Nice to Have
• AWS migration exposure
• Azure certifications (Admin or Architect)
Qualifications
Educational qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent education
Experience
• 5+ years of experience
