Electrical Designer/Draftsman - Oil& Gas

Job Description:

Design:
• Power cable sizing, Lightning protection risk studies, Lighting design using DIALux. Should be conversant in using Microsoft Excel with ability to do programming using VBA and to automate calculations.

Layout Engineering, Estimation and BOQ:
• Should be conversant with Hands on in-depth knowledge on BIM software such as REVIT, PDMS etc.. and 2D CAD software such as AutoCAD, Microstation etc..
• Conceptualizing, development, detailing and preparation of Substation GA and GFC drawings / considering general operation, maintenance and material handling arrangements as necessary as per IE rules and other statutes.
• Preparation of basic, detailed, GFC Single line diagrams.
• Preparation of basic, detailed and GFC / Shop drawings of Lighting, Cable tray, Earthing, lightning, conduiting/ wiring drawings etc..
• Preparation of power & control cable schedule, tray sizing, earthing schedule etc..
• BOQ/ BOM estimation
