Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Database Administration: Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 R2 & 2012 databases, including installation, database builds, and incident management.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze database blocking, session wait events, and perform DBCC checks to ensure optimal database performance.
• Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement a backup and recovery strategy to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
• Knowledge Management: Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for regular activities and maintain a Knowledge Encyclopedia (KEDB).
