Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor for Restaurant in Pune, Maharashtra, to oversee daily housekeeping operations.

The ideal candidate will lead a team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness, ensuring a positive and safe environment for all guests, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.
• Inspect all areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance, including gents’ and ladies’ bathrooms.
• Assign duties, issue cleaning schedules, and monitor performance.
• Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain company standards.
• Ensure bathrooms, rooms, lobbies, and public areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Address and resolve guest or staff complaints promptly and professionally.
• Report maintenance and repair needs to the appropriate departments.
• Lead by example with sincerity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
• Conduct regular meetings to communicate tasks, updates, and feedback.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to train and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Honest, sincere, and reliable work attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling (preferred).
