Senior Java Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java 8/11, SpringBoot, Kafka, SQL and relational databases, as well as working knowledge of message queues (MQ).

The successful candidate will also have expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices, using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and OpenShift, and have a deep understanding of cloud-native application design and architecture.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to teach colleagues tips and tricks of cloud-native development and have working knowledge of AWS.

The job requires:
• Developing and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java 8/11 and SpringBoot.
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of systems using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and OpenShift.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and testing principles.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
