‘Body and Convenience Electronics’ (BCE) is responsible for systems engineering and validation of systems in the areas – BCM, Instrument Cluster, Vehicle Access, Climate Control, HVAC, Lighting, Vehicle Access
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Practice Leaders our Application Software Development efforts for BCM Systems. This role combines technical leadership, project management, and team management to deliver innovative, high-quality embedded software solutions for next-generation EV platforms.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
• Lead end-to-end development of application software for BCM.
• Drive software architecture, design, implementation, testing, and validation in line with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR standards.
• Manage cross-functional teams across software development, integration, and testing functions.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective execution of projects, managing schedules, risks, and resource allocations.
• Collaborate with system engineers, hardware teams, and customers to define and refine software requirements.
• Lead code reviews, technical deep-dives, and continuous improvement of software development practices.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer and business expectations.
• Provide mentorship, performance management, and career development support for team members.
Technical Competencies
• 10+ years of experience in embedded software development, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in Body Control Module.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded RTOS environments.
• Familiarity with automotive standards like ISO 26262, ASPICE, and diagnostics protocols (UDS, CAN, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to cloud-based software diagnostics or digital twin technologies.
• Experience working with global teams and OEM customers.
• PMP or similar project management certification.
