Job Title: Data Engineer

???? Location: Hybrid (3 Days in a week WFO)

(Pune, Bangalore, Noida, Mumbai, Hyderabad)

???? Experience: 6 – 10 Years

???? Employment Type: Contract (as applicable)

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL, and Spark SQL.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to support data integration, transformation, and delivery.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build reusable components and libraries to streamline data engineering tasks.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure high data quality.
• Monitor and debug data workflows and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
• 6–10 years of experience as a Data Engineer in large-scale data environments.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Python – scripting and automation
• PySpark – distributed data processing
• SQL & Spark SQL – advanced queries, performance tuning, data modeling
• Hands-on experience with big data frameworks and data lake architectures.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data quality, and data governance principles.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Exposure to tools like Airflow, Kafka, or Delta Lake
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows
