Primary Math and Science Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Math and Science Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching foundational mathematical and scientific concepts to young learners, using hands-on activities, real-world examples, and interactive technology. The role involves creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment that promotes inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in Mathematics and Science based on the school’s curriculum.
• Use diverse instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Incorporate practical experiments, activities, and visual aids to enhance understanding.
• Foster curiosity, analytical thinking, and scientific inquiry among students.

2. Classroom Management
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive classroom environment.
• Promote student engagement, collaboration, and mutual respect.
• Implement behavior management strategies effectively and fairly.

3. Student Assessment
• Design and administer assessments to evaluate student learning.
• Track and report student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians regarding student development.

4. Professional Engagement
• Participate actively in staff meetings, school functions, and training programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and lesson planning.
• Stay updated with current teaching practices and educational technology.

Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Science, Elementary Education).
• Valid teaching certification/license preferred.

Experience
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience at the primary/elementary level is preferred.
• Familiarity with [insert curriculum: CBSE, ICSE, IB PYP, Cambridge Primary, etc.] is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Science for primary grades.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and educational platforms.
• Creative, patient, and committed to the overall development of young learners.
