Job Title: Admission counsellor

Responsibilities:

· Conduct one-on-one career pathway consultations with prospective students.

· Guide students through the program selection process, answering questions about courses, fees, and career prospects.

· Follow up with leads via calls, WhatsApp, and email to ensure continuous engagement.

· Document all interactions in the CRM system for efficient tracking and follow-up.

· Meet conversion quotas for student applications and enrollments.

· Provide valuable feedback on common student concerns and share insights with the team.

· Help students define and refine their career goals, providing advice on program selection, skill-building, and career planning.

· Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless handovers from initial inquiries to full application processing.

Requirements:

· 1-2 years of counseling, sales, or customer service experience.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong ability to explain complex information simply and clearly.

· Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on conversions and achieving targets.

· Comfortable with technology and CRM systems.

· Knowledge of the Indian higher education landscape and programs.

· Empathetic approach to student concerns and career path decisions.

Key Performance Metrics:

· Individual conversion rate (from initial inquiry to application).

· Call booking rate (successful engagements with leads).

· Student satisfaction ratings (feedback on consultations and overall experience).

· Follow-up effectiveness (engagement and conversion success from follow-up efforts).
