Fashion Designer (Ethnic clothing)

Looking for an experienced and hard working Fashion Designer with excellent knowledge of Indian Couture/Middle East fashion. Candidates should have worked in a design house with minimum 5 years of experience. Candidate must know how to handle production design and maintain a smooth work flow. Candidate must know merchandising and digital software's and content creation. Should be multi-tasking and organized at the same time. Should have good knowledge of advanced patterns, surface design and international fashion.

TASKS
• Developing original ideas, concepts and themes.
• Must have strong ethnic design background (Indian or Middle eastern clothing)
• In depth knowledge of draping, construction and pattern making
• Should have in depth knowledge of embroideries, trims and accessories
• Handling the production and assisting in designing the upcoming collections.
• Creating mood boards, experimenting with fabrics and techniques.
• Oversee design and production related tasks.
• Organize/coordinate photo shoots on a regular basis
• Should have good communication skills
• Should have in depth knowledge of design and fashion.
• Should be able to pull off all the tasks within the given deadline.
• Familiarity with social platforms is an added plus.
• Knowledge of sourcing in local markets is required
