About the job:
Title: Senior Platform Engineer
Start Date: Immediate

Job Overview:
The Senior Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable platform solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of DevSecOps practices, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tooling. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and virtual machine (VM) software development life cycle (SDLC).
Skillset: Strong with VM Creation, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Cloud-init.
Your Core Skills:
• Ability to build engineering & automation abstractions.
• Strong ability to move quickly, iterate, and deploy working solutions in fast-paced environments.
• Deep technical understanding of various automation technologies and how to leverage them to drive innovation in automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• You have superb written and verbal communication skills.
• You are familiar with best practices in engineering, architecture, security, and design.
Technical Skills:
• BUILD Platform features that are modular, re-usable, composable.
• Design, architect and build reliable automation pipeline using DevOps and systems principles.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and other relevant tools.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Packer, and Cloud-Init.
• Manage configuration using Ansible, bash, and PowerShell (pwsh) scripting.
• Deep knowledge of VMs creation, management and complete automation of VM SDLC
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Continuously improve platform architecture and processes.
• Strong understanding of golden signals, observability and SRE practices.
• Integrate with observability tools and platforms to monitor and respond to performance and incidents
