Platform Engineer

Requirements:
• 6-10 years of experience in backend/platform engineering.
• Has built or maintained core platform services (e. g., workflow engines, messaging queues, shared services, internal APIs, infra automation).
• Experience with cloud-native systems, microservices, queues, APIs, and observability.

Tech Skills to Prioritize:
• Backend development with Java, Node.js (preferably TypeScript), NestJS/Express, or similar frameworks.
• Databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other production-grade DBs.
• Experience with AWS (ECS, S3 Lambda, etc. ), Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to message queues (SQS, Kafka, etc. ) and background job processing.
• Bonus: Experience with monitoring tools (e. g., Datadog, Prometheus).

Context Fit:
• Candidates from product startups or SaaS companies are preferred.
• Should have dealt with scalability, performance, and observability challenges.
• Bonus: Experience building internal tooling or contributing to infrastructure migrations.
