Senior Software Designer Position
Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled software designer to fill a Senior Software Designer position, focusing on life insurance systems with expertise in Vantage and WMA.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop robust software programs for life insurance applications, including modifications and enhancements.
• Utilize experience working with Vantage or WMA to create annuities or universal life products solutions.
• Leverage mainframe experience to ensure efficient development and integration of software components.
• Analyze, maintain, and enhance existing software applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, or Assembler languages.
• Develop highly scalable and testable code to meet evolving client needs.
• Identify and resolve programming bugs to ensure software application reliability and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Development experience with life insurance applications, specifically Vantage or WMA policy admin systems, including annuities or UL, TRAD, VUL.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, or Assembler languages.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
