Wireless System Engineer Position For 5G And 6G Infrastructure Development

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless System Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and simulating innovative physical layer wireless communication algorithms. They will also implement E2E system models (float/fixed-point) and perform detailed performance investigations to allow performance sign-off and enable hardware and software development.

Key Responsibilities
Design and simulate innovative physical layer wireless communication algorithms.
Implement E2E system models (float/fixed-point) and perform detailed performance investigations.
Interpret and translate the 5G NR L1 specifications into feature descriptions/requirements.
Collaborate with digital designers and firmware developers to realize algorithms with power and area efficient implementation.
Develop models in Matlab, C/C++ of the transmit & receive processing blocks defined by the specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:

10+ years of experience in Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communications, and wireless chip development.
Deep knowledge of communication system theory and signal processing.
Expertise in the 5G NR physical layer standards.
Experience with floating-point algorithm development and link-level simulation modeling the 5G NR physical layer with Matlab, C/C++, and/or Python.
Experience with fixed-point algorithm development and modeling with Matlab, C/C++, and/or Python.
Strong analytical skills (linear algebra, random processes, detection and estimation).
A minimum undergraduate degree (graduate degrees preferred).
