Software Development Engineer, Payments

Amazon Pay Products is responsible for multiple 1P Payment instruments (Amazon Pay Wallet, Gift Card, Pay On Delivery etc) which are developed End-to-End in-house. Our goal is to build a Best In Industry experience for our customers in terms of experience and latency. We are developing our own deep learning models to help businesses prevent frauds & abuse.

We are embarking on a journey to support global teams to leverage the technology built in India. This will enable us to provide a seamless payment experience to customers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build features at massive scale and deploy them within and outside India.
Drive the team's structuring, growth, technical direction, strategizing and shaping our long-term vision and architecture.
Owning major deliverables end-to-end, driving roadmaps, and providing technical leadership to the engineering team.
Providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure the development of highly secure, scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
Collaborating with Product Managers, TPMs, and other stakeholders to develop strategies and roadmaps for new product development.
Requirements:

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
