Sample Sale Staff Needed!

Job Overview:
We are seeking General Staff Contractors to support our upcoming Warehouse Sale in Vancouver at the Vancouver Convention Centre, 1055 Canada Pl, Vancouver, BC, V6C 0C3. As a contractor, you will assist with various event and retail tasks, including sorting merchandise, assisting customers, and maintaining the cleanliness of the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with sorting and merchandising products during setup.
Assist with sorting and merchandising products during the event.
Replenishing product.
Sorting through putbacks.
Sizing product.
Serve as cashiers, floor, back of house, front of house staff as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to attendees.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
Keeping the floor clean.
Collecting hangers.
Qualifications:

Previous event or retail experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation to the event venue.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Tuesday April 22: 8am-12am
Wednesday April 23: 8am-+pm
Thursday April 24: +am-10pm
Friday April 25: +am-10pm
Saturday April 26: +am-8pm
Sunday April 27: +am-11pm
Important Notes:

This is NOT a full-time job - it is only for the hours of operations listed above.
People with full time availability for these hours will be prioritized
Hours are 12 hour shifts daily
Payment made via direct deposit within one business week of the conclusion of the event

Ability to commute/relocate:

Vancouver, BC V6C 3C1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

Cashiering: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
