Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Synapse Analytics Developer with over 5 years of experience in designing and developing analytical solutions on Azure Cloud.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure Synapse, ETL pipeline development, and data warehouse modeling, working closely with PySpark developers to deliver scalable data solutions.

Must-Have Skills & Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing analytical solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and related Azure Data Services.

• Strong expertise in Dimensional Modeling and implementing Medallion Architecture.

• Design overall Azure data architecture utilizing Synapse components including: o Serverless SQL Pool o Dedicated SQL Pool (formerly SQL DW) o Spark Pools

• Design and implement schemas for Dedicated SQL Pool.

• Define and build ETL pipelines in collaboration with PySpark developers.

• Create and manage Fact and Dimension Tables for data warehouse models.

• Build Azure Data Factory orchestration pipelines to execute PySpark notebooks.

• Ingest data from various sources, including: o SAP ECC Sr. Data Engineer o SAP BW o IBM FileNet o SQL Server and other RDBMS.

• Write, debug, and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Monitor query performance, resource consumption, and job execution metrics.

Good to Have: • Prior experience or knowledge of SAP Systems

• Relevant certifications like: o AZ-+00 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) o DP-300 (Administering Relational Databases on Microsoft Azure)

• Exposure to Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, Power BI (plus point)
