Ward Boy

A ward boy, also known as a ward assistant, provides care to patients in hospitals or in patients' homes. Their duties include:

- Patient care: Assisting patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, moving in and out of bed, and changing linens
- Meal service: Serving meals and feeding patients if necessary
- Exercise and walks: Assisting patients with exercises or walks as prescribed by the doctor
- Room maintenance: Cleaning patient rooms and ensuring patients have necessary facilities in their rooms
- Communication: Being a good communicator and respecting patients' dignity
