25/26 French Immersion Teacher (Competition #T1+20-1025)

Assignment:

Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position.
Instructing in a Grade 1 classroom
Duties to commence August 27, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2026 school year

Qualifications:

Experience teaching in a grade 1 classroom would be considered an asset
Experience teaching French Immersion would be considered an asset
Fluency in French is required
Strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and positive team member
Assessment literate
Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
Effective classroom management
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
