Job Description

The Programme Executive – Performing Arts will oversee music and dance programming at Serendipity Arts Foundation, including lead-up events, workshops, and festival performances. Acting as the primary liaison between the Foundation and curators, they will manage project execution, logistics, and production coordination. Additionally, they will support marketing and fundraising efforts to promote and secure resources for performances. A passion for the performing arts (particularly dance and music) and strong project management skills are essential to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality artistic experiences.

The Foundation hosts projects through the year, which include institutional partnerships with artists and art organizations, educational initiatives, grants and outreach programmes across India.

• Festivals From India is hiring for this role on behalf of Serendipity Arts Foundation.
• This is an on-site, full-time position based in Delhi.
• Salary band for this role is available upon request.
Requirements

Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Performing Arts, Arts Management, Cultural Studies, Event Management, or a related field.
• Degrees in Music, Dance, Theatre, or interdisciplinary arts programmes would be advantageous, especially for candidates with a background in performance curation.
• Equivalent professional experience in programming, production, or arts administration may also be considered in lieu of formal education.

Essential Experience:
• 3-6 years work experience in the arts is preferable, but not compulsory.
• Proficiency with software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of technical and production aspects of art-related project(s) would be an advantage
• Strong communication and writing skills, specifically in English.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office.
