About the Position

The University of Canterbury is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all members of the University community. As a Campus Patrol Officer, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Patrol designated areas to maintain the safety and security of staff, students, and visitors, either on foot or via specialized vehicle.
Collaborate with the Campus Security Officer (CSO) and Police as needed to ensure a coordinated response to potential threats or unauthorized persons.
Conduct routine checks on emergency towers, streetlights, and security equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

First Aid Certified or willing to learn.
Experience in a similar role within a medium to large organization.
