Software Developer Opportunities with the Collier County Sheriff's Office

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, debugging, and documenting computer programs based on system requirements and established standards.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze user needs and document specifications for their requirements.
Design and develop database-driven web pages using ASP.NET with VB, including master pages and AJAX.
Prepare documentation for end-users and IT personnel.
Assist other programmers, technical support personnel, and end-users.
Experience in Classic ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, and Telerik Controls for ASP.Net AJAX is a plus.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
Type 25 correct words per minute.
Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Visual Basic.Net.
Familiarity with Microsoft databases and SQL statements.
Ability to design user-friendly application screens and reports.
