Maternal Health Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team at UC San Diego Health.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with full-time faculty members in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, providing expert care to patients primarily at the Jacobs Medical Center Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units.

Key Responsibilities:

Working in labor and delivery triage and supporting the antepartum team
Assisting in the OR and participating in clinical education of CNM students, medical students, residents, and other health care trainees
Developing and implementing treatment plans and providing patient education and counseling
Requirements:

Current State of California Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license
CNM Board Certified
BLS/CPR certification at time of hire
NRP certification
Minimum of six months of inpatient Certified Nurse Midwife experience
