Software Engineer

Our client is a top-tier quantitative trading firm that has tripled its revenue in the past year and is expanding its team in Chicago.



They are willing to wait for all non-competes—up to two years!



Role:

Scale and optimize high-performance trading systems.
Collaborate with quant researchers and traders to enhance profitability.
Develop ultra-low latency systems and exchange gateway connectivity.


Essential Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong experience with C/C++ development.
Familiarity with distributed systems and infrastructure development.
Proven examples of a competitive edge (e.g., top placements in hackathons, academic excellence, industry awards).


Bonus Skills:

Master’s/PhD in a STEM-related field.
Knowledge of Python.
Work experience at a disruptor, startup, or trading firm.


Compensation:

$250K–$350k base salary + a guaranteed annual bonus—total comp reaching 7 figures.
