About The Role

As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you'll be part of the broader Finance team, focusing on the analysis of operational and financial data, invoicing, reconciliations, month-end processes, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
• Reviewing and implementing innovative approaches to improve month-end reporting processes, enhancing overall project efficiency.
• Conducting weekly soft closures to prepare for month-end.
• Leading initiatives to shorten the time required for month-end reporting.
• Managing key projects, including year-end audits and internal audit self-assessments, ensuring deadlines are met and business performance is enhanced.

About You

Are you an expert in finance systems with a passion for driving innovation and efficiency? Do you excel in dynamic, collaborative environments where your expertise can make a significant difference? If so, we would love to hear from you!

Key Skills
• A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with experience in finance systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and explain financial data.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders across the business.

The role is based at our Head Office in Birmingham, with a requirement to be on-site 2-3 days a week.
