Part-Time Funeral Operative/Driver

We have a vacancy for a Part-Time Funeral Operative working with us at;

G. McAllister Funeral Directors. 155-15+ Station Road, Shotts, ML7 4BQ

Part-time 16 hours a week plus overtime and out of hours call-out rate.

Duties to include:

Transferring those who have died into our care from varying locations
Preparation of funeral vehicles
Workshop duties including the preparation of coffins and caskets in readiness for funerals
Assisting on Funerals as a Driver
Delivering and collecting documentation to and from various locations
Assisting the Funeral Director to ensure the smooth running of the business
Do/Are you?

Live local to North/South Lanarkshire (For on-call out of hours duties)
Well presented, courteous and of good character
Able to communicate well
Previous experience desirable but not essential
At times you will be required to:

Participate in an on-call rota to ensure our 24-hour out of hours service
Hold a clean current UK driving licence

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
