Role Overview

We are looking for a Fashion Designer with a strong understanding of Western silhouettes, textile innovation, and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our collections, from conceptualization to prototyping and final production. Your designs should align with Etehas’ modern heritage aesthetic —where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary fashion.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Western silhouettes with a modern Indian influence.
- Work on prototyping, fittings, and textile selection to ensure high-quality production.
- Incorporate sustainable fashion practices in design and material selection.
- Collaborate with artisans, tailors, and the production team to bring designs to life.
- Research global and Indian fashion trends to create innovative, market-ready pieces.
- Oversee embroidery techniques, fabric manipulation, and finishing details.

What We're Looking For

✔️ Strong skills in textiles, and garment construction

✔️ Experience in designing Western garments with a modern heritage aesthetic

✔️ Understanding of sustainable and ethical fashion practices

✔️ Ability to collaborate with teams, from artisans to production

✔️ Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and innovation

✔️ Degree in Fashion Design or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
