Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Qualification: - B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 7-10 years

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise mechanical project related activity, supervise Contractors employee, maintain records related to erection of equipment’s.
• Determine procedures for maintenance, installation, modification, and repair of mechanical assignments during project.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures.
• Examine mechanical services i.e., plumbing etc.. for proper working procedures.
• Should be able to handle the plant equipment itself and should experience working on equipment like- Pumps, blowers, dryer operation, Lubrication system, Vacuum pumps, Conveyors, Agitators, Gearbox.
• Ensure all qualified contractors and their subcontractor employees complete safety training before initiating work at the site.
• Support to prepare a Pre-Job Hazard Assessment (PJHA) program for all contractor activities.
• Notify immediately of any contractor employee reportable injuries, significant near miss, environmental spill/releases, and property damage to HIL Management.
• Actively support the contactor safety processes by leading a weekly safety inspection at the contractor work areas. The inspection shall focus on both site general conditions and behaviours, the CSA should be completed early during the start of construction, in general prior to 50 % completion.
• Involvement and assist in incident investigations/Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recording.
• Compliance with HIL safety guideline and Corporate EHS requirement.
