Acrylic Dental Technician

The Denture Clinic Canberra

Full Time – 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary $75000 - $100000


About us

We are a friendly, reputable acrylic denture lab located on the Southside of Canberra, with 4 denture clinics and 2 dental prosthetists to serve our denture wearing patients.


Qualifications & experience

• 3+ years experience as an Acrylic Dental Technician or Fully Qualified with Dental Technician Diploma

• Experience in creating, modifying and repairing acrylic dental appliances is a must


Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist and work as a team in day-to-day operations of a busy acrylic dental lab, which will include all aspects of manufacturing all acrylic work:

o Fabricating acrylic dentures at all stages

o Pouring up models for fabricating dentures

o Setting up and articulating models for the future stages of fabricating dentures

o Setting up wax try-ins for dentures

o Processing and finishing dentures in acrylic ready for issue

o Repairing, adding teeth and relining existing dentures

o Scanning models for record keeping and for chrome denture work

• Must be self-driven with good time management and organise work flow effectively

• Good communication skills

• Good team player

• Assisting in technical queries for dental clients via the phone or email and occasional booking patients in to see our Dental Prosthetists

• Ordering stock and organisation of the lab

• Excellent attention to detail

• Available for full time hours and opportunity for overtime
