IT Application Engineer

Job description
Conexxia Pty Ltd, a prominent Australian IT consulting company, is seeking a skilled IT Application Engineer to strengthen their team in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and possess a minimum of 3+ years of development experience.

As a key member of the team, the successful applicant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Key responsibilities include:

Participating in sprint activities, including analysis, design, and build/development
Demonstrating initiative in problem-solving, design solutions, and contributing to team goals
Writing operational and software documentation from a technical standpoint
Providing technical solutions in terms of code, design, and industry best practices to ensure quality products
Required skills and qualifications include experience with designing and implementing modules and App connectivity methods like APIs, SOAP requests with WSDLs, and database links. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess Appian experience, CI/CD experience, working knowledge of Agile tools, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
